Hey all aspiring future RN's ! I'm transferring to City tech in fall 2020. Then I plan on applying to City Tech Spring 2021 RN program. I just need to take one more class MAT 1190. Does anyone else plan on applying? Current students in the RN program do you have any advice?
I understand we cant register for classes until we get accepted, but the schedule of classes doesnt even show first semester courses like nur1030 Like how r we supposed to at least register for other classes like a&p2 if we don't know when at least the nursing classes will be offered. And all NUR courses say in person. Is that true, even for lecture.

Being its not your major its not going to show. Unfortunately, you will have to wait to get accepted into the program so that the first semester nursing classes can show. I heard from nursing students that it is fully online for now.

Not even the second semester students can enroll yet Bc they’re still trying to figure how clinicals is going to work for next semester. Try to enroll in afternoon A&P2 classes since nursing classes for the first semester are usually in the morning.

Right. I was looking for Nur1030 and didn't see any. I have all the other classes done for the AAS program except nursing classes so I'm wondering if I'd only be taking Nur1010? I'm literally so anxious to know if I got into the program or not.

Yes I’ve been looking at plans and advisement maps and it looks like it’s just NUR1010 for this upcoming semester ?

stats?
Yes, on the application, I put “IP - In Progress,” and I wanted to send him an email but I didn’t want to sound like I’m pestering him because I’ve contacted him many times over these few months LOL. Thank you!

Oh okay. Thank you!

For the past two semesters, I know the cut off has been between 3.53-3.54. First time I applied I had a 3.46 and did not meet the cut (that was for Spring 2020). I took math 1275 earned an A and my GPA jump to a 3.57, I was in for fall 2020. I would say if you have atleast a 3.55 or up your safe, but with everything being online who knows.
