Hey all aspiring future RN's ! I'm transferring to City tech in fall 2020. Then I plan on applying to City Tech Spring 2021 RN program. I just need to take one more class MAT 1190. Does anyone else plan on applying? Current students in the RN program do you have any advice?

I appreciate her emphasis on flow, grammar and punctuation but sis will knock off 15-20 points for that... her class weighs heavy on these discussion board points. The two exams, midterm and final, are open book and a bit annoying with the wording of the questions. Half of them are easy the other half is made for you to mess up on. Smh. She’s very thorough and you can tell she’d rather be synchronous instead of asynchronous... which is annoying for someone who specifically chose asynchronous. I will give her this, she’s open to helping all the time and gave extra credit. I got a B. If I would’ve done all three extra credits I would’ve gotten an A. ? but I legit had no time man.
Wow, that sounds tough. You made it, though! LOL

What was your first try GPA and TEAS score if you do not mind me asking?

It was a 3.5 and TEAS was a 64%. When I asked weeks before submitting my application they said I can still apply with that kind of score, but then when the rejection came out it said my score didn't meet the requirements.

Oh yea I don’t know why they told you that when they consider “passing” 65.4. But fingers crossed you get in this upcoming semester!
