City Tech Spring 2021

Hey all aspiring future RN's ! I'm transferring to City tech in fall 2020. Then I plan on applying to City Tech Spring 2021 RN program. I just need to take one more class MAT 1190. Does anyone else plan on applying? Current students in the RN program do you have any advice?

As long as it is a passing score you should be fine! Let's keep a positive mindset and hope we receive our letters soon, like next week soon LOL

Oh yeah! same here. I have been trying to keep myself occupied with anything honestly but I think by next week we should somewhat know, no later than two weeks from now hopefully.

Hey everyone! I read through everything and I just wanted to say that I am also waiting to see whether I got in and it’s super nerve racking!! Nonetheless, I wish us all nothing but the best! We got this future nurses!! ☺️

I transferred as well and needed to retake A&P. You repeated A&P so that they would count that towards the pre req GPA not the old so you should be fine. I was a worry wort and asked before I signed up if I needed to retake it. The nursing advisor said yes I was correct and then after I submitted my application I emailed again asking that they use my current A&P just to be on the safe side. I annoyed that man with all my questions LOL so I’m sure it’s okay to do the same if you did already.

What kinda responds did they gave it to you? Because for me they said They can’t do it or they will think about it. Can you tell me what point you made to them? Hopefully we both get in program ?

I said something like this 

I currently have BIO 2311 and PSY 2301 in progress to use with my other prerequisites from the university I transferred from, ENG 1121 ( UNI 112 Focused Inquiry II Writing Intensive) and MATH 1375 (MATH 151 Pre-Calculus).

And yes hopefully we both get it love!

For those of u already in the program, how r first semester nursing classes like? Difficult? A lot of reading? Because I am debating whether I should take Microbiology this semester or next. I’m asking about nur 1010 and nur 1030

I’m not in the program yet but I’m registered for microbio and gonna take both nur 1010 and 1030, better get microbio over with and when it’s online
