City Tech Spring 2021

Published

Hey all aspiring future RN's ! I'm transferring to City tech in fall 2020. Then I plan on applying to City Tech Spring 2021 RN program. I just need to take one more class MAT 1190. Does anyone else plan on applying? Current students in the RN program do you have any advice?

Btw, For the Spring 2020 nursing, they received the acceptance emails on Thursday, January 9. Just checked on this site. Also a lot of ppl were calling the office to inquire about when they will send out the letters last year. So hopefully we get them soon.  Fingers crossed before the weekend.

Hopefully ????

Hello! Did anyone got their letter yet?? I hope they send them soon, so we can move on. I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack every morning check my email.

OMG! Thanks for replying LOL my stomach has been in knots thinking maybe they have already sent out letters.  Do you know if they send emails as well?

Hey guys just giving my 2 cents here but if your GPA is a 3.5 and you passed the TEAS regardless of your score, I’d say you have about a 99% chance of acceptance.

I haven’t heard of them sending actual letters, but I do know they email you the results!

Can you bring any solace to those who got a 3.4 and up?? anyone in your program who got accepted with a 3.4 and passing TEAS? But thank you for your input. It definitely helps

LOL you have a really good chance with a 3.4 as well. Yes people did get accepted with a 3.4 so it’s very possible but that’s closer to the cutoff which is why I didn’t mention it but anything above a 3.5 is almost a guaranteed entrance as long as you pass the TEAS.

I am a transfer student and this is my first semester at City Tech. I already took A&P 1 and 2 and psychology at my previous university. Given that your GPA resets every time you transfer, do you think they will count only math and English as my GPA, which I took this semester that just passed, and see that I took everything else, or would they count everything as my GPA??
