City tech Nursing spring 2016

Published

Hello everyone,

I apply for the nursing program and I have a pre-req GPA of 3.5 and a teas score of 72. i just wanted to know what are my chances of getting in. Does anyone knows what was the cut-off for last semester. and finally when do we get the acceptance letter for Spring 2016?

Thanks

I got an 82.7 on my teas and my prereq gpa was 3.9.

City tech is old school, you get your acceptance in the mail. you all should be getting it soon as the deadline to confirm or deny acceptance is january 11th. i got my acceptance January 2nd. 80 on my teas exam and a 3.5 pre-req gpa. Also, in fall of 2015 I was still finishing some pre -reqs.On dec. 29th, i went to the nursing dept to submit my final transcript which had the nursing pre req grades. I was quite nervous as i got a C in A and P 1.

what do you mean by priority

I had a 3.94 gpa and a 66 on my teas and i got rejected. Do they prioritize the Teas more?

They do. I had an acquaintance in one of my classes who was a liberal arts major with a 3.3 GPA but they accepted her because she scored an 84 on the TEAS

I am new to this forum and I am a bit confused. How come some of you with high GPA's are scoring the national mean percentage on the TEAS V exam? Shouldn't the performance on both be indicative of each other? If you have a 3.9 prerequisite GPA, it means you've mastered most of the material in the 4 prerequisite courses. Shouldn't the TEAS V score reflect that by being in the same grade range?

Hey guys what I meant by priority, it goes from highest gpa and teas score until all seats are filled.

They take both into consideration, it's all about the pool of the ppl applying.

Does anyone know what to do for the physical exam testing or cpr?

was it required for us to go drop our transcript after the semester was over. Because I was taking AP. What is the office's number??

Was anyone able to register

I got accepted everyone, congrats to everyone else that also got in. How do we accept the acceptance???
