City tech Nursing spring 2016

Published

Hello everyone,

I apply for the nursing program and I have a pre-req GPA of 3.5 and a teas score of 72. i just wanted to know what are my chances of getting in. Does anyone knows what was the cut-off for last semester. and finally when do we get the acceptance letter for Spring 2016?

Thanks

if what you said is true that 3.0 is the cut off, then thats great. but i think it depends on the semester, and the type of people that applies.
I agree but yeah thats what he told me.

You need a 2.5 GPA for your application to even touch the Nursing Dept's table; you NEED to pass EACH content of the TEAS. The only time they dissect and look in depth at your TEAS is if you've a low GPA of 3.5 and below and they are contemplating between you and another person with an equally low GPA. If you've a high GPA of 3.6 and above, they only look to see if you've passed the TEAS that's it. Every single student in the Nursing dept had at least a 3.6 GPA when they got accepted. I got in with a 4.0 GPA but I barely scraped through with the TEAS. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT ANYONE WITH A GPA OF 3.3 or LESS. If by chance you do get accepted, it's only because they needed to fill in an extra spot.

Good Luck

Does anyone know when we will find out if we got accepted?

I have the same question. To my understanding we were supposed to be getting our results via email today. I guess I'm going to try to email them in the morning.

No I think we are getting it around almost second week of January ?

I most likely think it will be the 2nd week of january, because they need a week to decide.

Ok thank you. Does anyone know who the best professors are?

You can PM me.

Has anyone heard from the nursing dept yet? I'm embarrased to say I was in the program for the fall, but I'm repeating. So idk if they will be telling us new and returning students if were accepted at the same time :(

You guys should be hearing soon I got the letter

Does anyone know approximately when we'll be receiving our admission letters? Is it in fact the second week of January or is it sooner/later? I'm so nervous!

I'm going to the nursing department this Monday if I don't receive a letter by then. I don't want to have to wait a week before classes begin to get everything done on time, in case I get accepted

You guys should be hearing soon I got the letter

did you get an email too? because Im not home to know if i got one.
