City of Hope - New Grad August 2013

Published

Hey everyone! Has anyone applied to the City of Hope New Graduate program? I applied a few days ago and will post on here if I hear anything. Best of luck to those that applied!

Yes, and she said "all the qualitlies that you have." However, these are the recruiters and not the hiring managers. They did mention they will only hire internals this next cohort, BSNs, oncology experience.

Were there multiple interviewers?

What did you bring to the interview? I have mine on Monday morning but I was never informed to bring anything or to go to a specific location.... This has been such a frustrating experience!

@faithful always I just received your message and tried to respond, however, the site won't allow me as I am new to it. I had my phone interview the other day and am moving on to the next phase of interviewing. Just wanted to say thank you and I wish you the best.

@v98ginger I'm just curious if the nurse recruiter told you they were done hiring for the new grad positions because I'm still going thru the interview process and have another interview next week for it. Now I'm not sure what to think :/

They said they have all the candidates for it, but didn't say all positions are filled. So don't worry!!! Were you an internal or a external candidate.

Thank you for your insight! Do you mean the October cohort, or the Jan/Feb 2014 one that we are vying for?

oh ok that makes sense, thank you for clarifying! I am an external candidate, so there is hope for all you externals!

Jan/feb cohort. She said they wont be posting the positions for the public.

@FaithfulAlways, im sorry to hear that! I was hoping if you could give me some insight on how your interviews were conducted and by who, as I am scheduled to interview for the first time. Also, those of you who got the CIS email that's great because that means you have your foot in the door for the next cohort, and from what I've been told several more positions will be open then as they are adding another section to the hospital. Also, I know COH is switching over to electronic charting sometime in October.

Good luck @ Faithfulalways!!!

Does anyone know if the CIS position is a 5 days a week/9-5 type gig?
