City College of San Francisco Spring 2020

Published

Hi everyone! I applied for the spring 2020, just wanted to start a discussion to see who else applied. Curious to know the points you got when calculating and just support eachother through this process. To my calculations I scored about 38 points before the TEAS. Not sure if I used the correct points though. Good luck, everyone!

Congrats! and thanks for the positive vibes to everyone else. I'm just hoping to get on the standby list for the 2nd time, since last year they got to my number, but I totally missed my email and the cut off time to accept.

what's the difference between standby and waitlist? and hoping the best for you!!!

Thank you! well it's the same thing, but the letter I received last year said " We reached your name on our standby list" so, I'm assuming they call it the standby list as apposed to the waitlist.

Hello! I'm applying for this program next year! congrats to all who have been accepted!

could you possible tell us your scores/points, the ones who were accepted?

Our score ranking was not provided in the acceptance letter. I calculated my own points and it turned out to be 73 points. Goodluck next year!

I heard from someone who is in the program said they had exam 1 (Math exam) on the second week. Not sure about the upcoming semester ?

Thats good to know.. I emailed all the professors according to the class catalog. Hopefully they reply back soon.

Hey guys! My name is Katie Stuart. I just got accepted into the Spring 2020 Nursing program at CCSF! Im so excited to meet all of you. I live in Sonora, CA which is 3 hours away so my biggest problem right now is finding somewhere to live! Anyone have any suggestions?

Congrats to everyone who got in & good luck to those on waitlist! ??

I know we’ll probably learn more about it during orientation, but does anyone happen to know how CCSF to SFSU’s bridge program works? In terms of when to apply.. etc

@tema9221 I was curious about the same thing...based on the information page that’s available through the CCSF Nursing site it seems like we should have applied to SFSU and the bridge program in August? Which seems odd since we just got accepted...

@Clydyssmama lol exactly why I asked! I was like we just got accepted but we had to apply in August?! ? But good thing I wasn’t the only one with the same concern

It seems the bridge program only opens for Fall entry. So if we want to apply, it’s gonna be on our third semester. (However, I remember that they said they accept Fall entry student first, then spring entry student. Fall entry students have higher chance to get in)
