City College of San Francisco Spring 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi everyone! I applied for the spring 2020, just wanted to start a discussion to see who else applied. Curious to know the points you got when calculating and just support eachother through this process. To my calculations I scored about 38 points before the TEAS. Not sure if I used the correct points though. Good luck, everyone!

Probably thru the school? I found everything cheaper online tho

Hi Dardarbinkss,

Thanks for your response!

When purchasing the Davis Bundle books online, did you get a hard copy, digital copy, or do you have both? Jw, b/c I prefer using hard copies, but the student that spoke to us during orientation said it was useful to have some of those books as a digital copy as well for easy access during clinical.

Majority I bought as hard copy I bought the drug guide as digital, the calculations as digital, and one more I think comprehensive something-the rest I got hard copy because the reviews said the digital ones weren’t great

Ok. Thanks for your feedback Dardarbinkss!

Anyone here a LVN that applied as a regular entry instead of advance? Reason? I'll be applying in the next few weeks after taking my teas.

Also, congrats to everyone that got in!

Thank you @NurseTuannie!

To answer your question, I'm an LVN and applied for regular entry. I wasn't sure what the likeliness of getting accepted through advanced placement; ex. if there's space available, if that makes sense. But if I knew about anyone applying for advanced placement and having a high change of getting in, I would've applied through that. Hopefully I answered your question! Good luck

Hello Tema,

Thanks for the response. I'll also try to apply for the regular entry soon. Wish they would give some kind of % for advance placement admission rate. I see from other schools that they only admit 3-6 per enrollment period...and some none at all.
