City College of San Francisco Spring 2020

Published

Hi everyone! I applied for the spring 2020, just wanted to start a discussion to see who else applied. Curious to know the points you got when calculating and just support eachother through this process. To my calculations I scored about 38 points before the TEAS. Not sure if I used the correct points though. Good luck, everyone!

what do you mean time frame for remaining numbers? Like, we're all just hoping for someone to back out of their spot...sigh. seems unlikely I guess.

Right!? On the plus side, classes don't start until January 13th...and a lot can happen until then. (Fingers still crossed). However, I can't plan my life waiting like this...dangit Helen! Lol

I think thats exactly what that means. We just have to wait and hope someone drops out. I know someone that got called right before the first day of school. Literally, anything can happen till then.

I think I might do a LVN program just to increase my points or do an RN advanced placement. What do you guys think?

I’m looking into LVN as well. I’m probably just going to try to do a bridge program elsewhere rather than try to reapply with CCSF especially since they’re only accepting once a year now ( but hey still gonna be hopeful we get in this round lol.USF admissions came out today.. so who knows if someone was waiting on their call! )

Hi @Mrrn111 and @desdewitt! I’m actually an LVN, and I do think it helped increase my chances of getting in, specifically with the license and experience portion. I actually finished my prereqs at SFSU, but left to do an LVN program because I knew it was impacted. So I really recommend it if you can!

Thanks so much, Tema! I like your advice and I’ve actually been leaning towards that way anyways. I’m willing to sacrifice 11 months to finally get my hands on that ‘nurse’ title! And plus I heard they have advanced placement options into ADN Programs but I don’t mind going through the process! I thought about doing LVN a couple years back when I had just turned 21 but I had so much going on. Now I’m like, girl, just go do it and stop laggin’. Hey, MrRn, they’ve got some good LVN programs, besides Unitek/Gurnick, that are much cheaper. It wouldn’t hurt to do LVN plus it can teach us how to survive RN school if we’re paranoid about the challenges. I was gonna challenge the board but I still need one more year of hospital experience (I’m at 3 years and you technically need 4 1/2). I’m 24, so, I should probably get the ball rolling!

Hi all, I am planning to apply for fall 2020. Does anyone know what was the average accepted student's points for ATI score and multicriteria score? Thank you in advance!

I got in with an 82.7 but not sure what the average is

@Dardarbinkss thank you for your reply. If anyone has more info about average score please comment. I am not sure if I should rush to take teas since ccsf only allows 1 attempt.

I’m waitlisted but I got 83.3%

@Dardarbinkss @Mrrn111 thank you for both or your reply. 82.7% and 83.3%, are those ATI scores or ATI and multi criteria combined score?
