Hi everyone! I applied for the spring 2020, just wanted to start a discussion to see who else applied. Curious to know the points you got when calculating and just support eachother through this process. To my calculations I scored about 38 points before the TEAS. Not sure if I used the correct points though. Good luck, everyone!

The nursing schedule is fixed with Pharm 1, lab, and fundamentals (available on nursing site) and the spring 2020 class schedules are posted if you search “Nursing” as the class name they should pop up! I’m on social media: Tiffany Poe on fb or Tbird1987 on insta!

Cool just added you, I’m looking at the spring 2020 catalogue but if I’m reading this correctly is this 36 units this semester? I’m confused on that because that seems like A LOT

I got my acceptance email today as well (11am)!!...Congrats to those who got in, and good luck to those who are hoping for the waitlist. I already know a few people who won’t be accepting, so it’s not too late; I’ve heard that in the past they’ve gone pretty far down the list.

I look forward to meeting some of you!

That can’t be right... that sounds more like 36 for the whole program. If not then I’m in for a rude awakening in January ? the semester schedule should be around 12 or so units. I’m also guessing based on the website- which was updated for next years cohort. We’ll learn more at orientation. I’m pretty sure we won’t be in more than the 3 classes and will only be in class 2-3 days a week- for now anyways. What I was told (2nd hand so take it with a grain of salt) is that we only go to class a couple days a week and most of our learning is self guided at home and the during clinicals. We’ll know what to expect soon though!

I feel like we'll be receiving them perhaps by the beginning of next week?? I had emailed her about waitlist but no response yet

Im worried because as of right now I go to SFSU and I planned a vacation to the Philippines according to the winter break of SFSU (SFSU starts school on Jan 27 while CCSF starts Jan 13). Im able to go to the mandatory orientation but I’m afraid that I wont be there for the first week of class. Ill be back the second week tho. Not sure who to contact this about but I’ve emailed the professors for the classes already. ;-;

As I know, it’s gonna be 9 units for the first semester. 3 classes and we might need to go to school for 4-5 days per week at the beginning of the semester (at least 4 days). One month after, 2 days for clinics and the rest in school.

I heard from someone who is in the program said they had exam 1 (Math exam) on the second week. Not sure about the upcoming semester ?

Congrats! and thanks for the positive vibes to everyone else. I'm just hoping to get on the standby list for the 2nd time, since last year they got to my number, but I totally missed my email and the cut off time to accept.
