Citrus College ADN Fall 2012

Hello everyone!

I applied to my home college's nursing program. I applied to a few BSN programs and other CCs. Since I can't get into any BSN programs I figure my top choice ADN program could have some consideration on me.

Anyone besides me waiting to hear from Citrus?

I am thinking we should hear sometime in May, hopefully early May

Noone can tell you about this. Just call and ask Nursing Department. Some rank alternates in order. One (accepted) declines his seat, next one (alternate) will be called. Some runs the lottery. Some looks at the TEAS score.

It also depends on the semester that you apply too. Ex: LA South west college had to call like... almost ppl on alternate list were called (Fall 2011). For Spring 2012, they just called 3-4 ppl. Just wait, pray, and see... Im on Alternate list @ LA Harbor College too. Im feelin like .. riding Roller Coaster.

I just feel like I am in limbo with all of these schools. Even getting an alternate letters is like limbo....ugh fustrating

Oh nice! My friend goes to RH right now. He is doing the spring pre ADN class

It is very hard program but know at least 5 people who got a job offer at the end of the program.

Thank you! I hope you get in too, I have a feeling you will be okay, only because if someone doesnt pass the TEAS you get in and if someone declines you get in!

I still haven't heard anything from Citrus!

DarkBluePhoenix I know what you mean about feeling in limbo with an alternate status...theres no guarantee! I'm in the same position and I just really hope to be able to start somewhere in the fall.

it does not hurt to call them and ask them where you are on the list. tehehe :D

When I emailed them my accepted alternate status they said they couldn't release my alternate number. What a joke, come on its MY number. Why can't I know it?

Anyway, I emailed back why I can't know my place and if I was 'high' on the alternates list.

I am expecting to learn nothing. Since I attend Citrus, I know quite a few people who got in or are alternates.

That's ridiculous! Yea I called as well and they will not release if I got in or not...seriously? I guess I will have to wait
