I took Chronicity last week and I must say it was a little hard but i did use SG101 too, just study you'll pass!!!

Just follow the content outline, it is what you need to know and focus on. My problem with this tesat was the amount of questions. I think there are 160 questions. My brain was shutting off at 130, I got a C on it. I was just glad I passed it. I had trouble with focusing on it towards the end. Good luck!!!

To be honest w/you, for this test I felt like SG101 fell way off track. I definately found that using the required texts and content outline was a must for this. There was 160 questions.... tooo many!!!

I also used the practice tests (BIG help) and Saunders to review, alot in there on functional assessment and HUGE help on sensory--especially meds, there were alot of meds on my test.

Good luck, you will do great :-)

Try yr best to follow EC content guide, then focus on meds, functional assessment, sensory, end of life. EC Practice test was a huge help. 160q's, stay focus you'll do great!

I totally agree with Beachnurse. I thought Studyguide101 was off track and had inaccurate info, espec in sensory.

What Saunders are you talking about? I see a lot of people mention that. The NCLEX review book?? Thank You !

I use Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN, I have the 3rd edition (I think it's like 2005). Got it on Ebay for like $30, worth every stinkin penny :-)

sg101 is a waste @ least for chronicity.... i took it last week, a lot of the questions were common sense.... but it's 160 questions, at one point i just wanted to be done. review the saunders, my friend had a lot of peds and i only had a few questions related to peds. did have lots of meds, and cultural... good luck

SG 101? Is that the 9.99 per month? Have you taken any practice exams? I am abou to take Health and Safety

I also found the SG 101 the antithesis of helpful in preparing for Chronicity. I passed and followed the content outline. My brain was done before the exam was it was way too long and I'm surprised that with my lack of focus on the end of the exam I was able to pass it.

If I remember correctly I paid $57 for all the notes.
