CHOC RN Residency February 2018

Hey Everyone! I can't wait to apply for CHOC's residency. Who else is applying and to which unit? I'd love to work in the CVICU. I was hoping they'd post the application today, but it's not up yet.

I applied to NICU too! Have you heard anything yet?

I heard from the NICU! Got a Phone interview 2 weeks ago and they invited me for an in-person one in 2 weeks!

I interviewed for the last cohort with the PICU. I just remember it taking so long to hear back from them that when they called I had forgotten about them and it took me a minute to realize who they were and remember that I had applied lol.

Just got a call to interview for the Medical Unit on Monday December 18th at 8:30AM!

Anybody have any tips?

Good job...I applied for the medical unit as well but haven't heard anything. I wonder if their done calling people for interviews?

It didn't go all the well for me (obviously lol). It was pretty much all behavioral like "name a time you did this" and alot of it has just never happened to me before so it was very hard to come up with a proper answer. I interviewed with the manager and a staff nurse

So to confirm, NICU interviews were last week and will be held this week & next week? Does anyone know when they will make final decisions?
