CHOC RN Residency February 2018

Hey Everyone! I can't wait to apply for CHOC's residency. Who else is applying and to which unit? I'd love to work in the CVICU. I was hoping they'd post the application today, but it's not up yet.

I applied for the medical unit and haven't heard anything back yet. I will update anything as I hear.

It was updated the day after I applied.

I applied 11/1 and it was updated on 11/2...Not quite sure what that means. I'm assuming it means they just received it.

None yet! Getting a bit anxious already. November's almost over.. Some units are apparently interviewing on the first week of December. Have you heard anything or has your status changed at all?

Haven't heard anything from the medical unit as well. I even tried calling to check on the status but no answer :(

Hey everyone!

For those who are still waiting to hear back - don't lose hope! I just received an email to interview for the NICU for the second week of December. I even called HR early last week, and the person I spoke to couldn't give me an update on my application status...she said that I would receive an email if I get an interview or if the positions are already filled. I also don't think they update the status of our applications online, since my application status is still "Completed."

It can be frustrating during the holidays since we don't know if the managers on other units are trying to deal with interviews before or after the holidays. Wishing you all the best!

I applied to PICU as well and have not heard anything. From previous years threads, it looks like some units did not offer interviews until mid-to-end of December. Fingers crossed for all of us :)
