CHOA Nurse Externship

I wanted to start a thread for the fellow nursing students that have recently applied for the CHOA nursing externship for 2015. I had a digital interview a couple of days ago but have not heard back. Anyone else?

No phone call... Which department called? Starting to freak out a little bit!

I got a phone call a little while ago. She said the same thing to me about the interview. I am being considered for a spot in the PICU at Scottish Rite.

Don't give up hope just yet! I'm sure it's going to take them more than one day to make phone calls.

I just wonder because I never received an email asking for references. The only positive thing is that my application status changed to contacting candidates for interviews

If it makes you feel better, I did get an email asking for references, but my status has not changed and I haven't received a phone call. Not sure what all of this means...

I know of a friend that received an email, status did not change and did not receive a phone call either. I guess we have until February 9th

I'm just really hoping different units are doing it slightly differently, which is why some people got emails and some haven't gotten calls yet.

I also received a phone call today! I'm being considered for the CICU and she said they would either schedule an interview or go off resumes.

So it sounds like several different departments were doing phone calls yesterday... Starting to lose hope!

Update, just got a call from transplants. She said they'll have me in towards the end of the month for an interview!
