CHOA Nurse Externship

I wanted to start a thread for the fellow nursing students that have recently applied for the CHOA nursing externship for 2015. I had a digital interview a couple of days ago but have not heard back. Anyone else?

So I never received an email asking for references but my application status was updated to interview scheduling in progress.. Anyone else?

Nope, mine does not say that :( do y'all think different units are doing it differently? Which ones did you apply for?

Mine still says "Application under review" but I did submit references last week so I'm not sure how they are doing this.

It is weird because I never received an email about references last week..

Yeah, that is a little weird. Did you get an e-mail notifying you of the application status change? I applied to the PICU and ED as well. And then the CIRU.

I did not. I checked the status on their website

I guess you could always e-mail them and ask what that status change means. Or see if you can research it yourself? I'm assuming it's a positive sign though!

I applied for oncology/hematology, NICU, and transplants. Hopefully you'll get a phone call soon asking for an interview, since it sounds like that's the next step of the process according to your status change! Fingers crossed for the rest of us too. We've got this!

I JUST got one. They said they'll either schedule an appointment for an interview or may go strictly off resumes. I am being considered for ED
