I just got a call yesterday that I am being considered for the transplant unit for summer 2016! I would love to talk with you about the unit and the extern position if you're willing! I sent you a friend request on here, also!

I applied for this upcoming summer 2016 but haven't heard anything yet. It looks like from the past year, this is the week where the units start calling people. Fingers crossed!! Congrats on getting considered for transplant!

For anyone applying for this program in the future, I thought I would give you an idea of the process. I applied online for the CHOA Externship on December 1, 2020. I completed the HireVue virtual interview in December. In early February, I received a request to give references (I put in email addresses and my referrers filled out an online form). I was contacted on February 15th to set up an interview for the ED at Scottish Rite. I just interviewed today (February 17th). They said I should hear back March 1st! I also applied on December 1st, 2020, did the HireVue, and gave references in early February as well! I was contacted on 02.12.2020 and am being considered for hematology/oncology! I have my interview next week. ?
