  1. akatherine, SR or EG? Which floor (neuro, GI, resp)?
  2. Don't give up! I have found it helps to quiz yourself/classmates before exams. It helps the information really consolidate after reviewing. Talk it out!
  3. Good luck to all! I'm going to be a CHOA (Atlanta).
  4. Does anyone recommend practice questions or just the huge book?
  5. I assure you that you all will LOVE your decision to attend GBCN. All of the professors are absolutely WONDERFUL. You know how usually there is always a disliked professor? You won't have one here. They're all great and they really challenge you. 1st semester is certainly a learning process. Most people put most of their time toward Patho and Fundamentals, while professional nursing and community can also be tricky. For patho, DO THE STUDY GUIDES PROVIDED! If you pay attention in community, you should be fine and same with fundamentals. Mid-way through second semester, 304 is very similar to patho. Do not throw out your patho notes as you build off of patho in 304. More than likely your best bet will be to read for mental health. Gerontology is just a lot of fun! Again, if you have more questions feel free to shoot me a message! We can exchange contact information if needed.
  6. Good luck guys! I'm also currently a student at GBCN, feel free to message me with any questions! Good luck! And to those accepted - ENJOY YOUR SUMMER :)
  7. A lot of people like to read before class or while they're preparing for the exam, but I elect not to. I've found that our professors generally lecture straight from the book and use the powerpoint that were supplemented by the book company so it's essentially the same. It helps to meet with friends and quiz each other because it really allows that information to consolidate.
  8. Hey ATL-Murse-wannabe! I am unable to reply due to limited amount of topics per the site, but I can view your message. If you want - you can send me your contact information via private message!
  9. This post helps a lot because I take this exam soon!

  11. Good luck everyone!
