CHLA Versant RN Residency September 2020 Cohort

Hi! I know the application for CHLA's RN Residency Program doesn't come out until March 2nd, 2020, but I just wanted to get a heads start!

I'm planning on applying for their NICCU and was curious if anyone knew what the prescreen interview would consist of?

HEY! I’m applying March 2nd too, to the ED. I read some posts about what the last cohort had to do for the application and it sounds like the video interview has some basic “get to know you” questions. There’s an introduction, then they ask things like why this department? Why this hospital? And what will you do if you don’t get this job? I read that you only have 2 min to answer each question, can only record your answers once, but you have time to prepare before recording.

I'm assuming we should dress up for the prescreen video interview LOL I wish the hospital gave us a list of questions beforehand for the video interview!

so nervous! does anyone know what level their NICCU is? On the NICCU page it says a Level IV, but in the job description it says Level III so I just wanted to double check!

Is anyone else having trouble uploading the application packet? Even if I separate it into 2 it will not upload ? Doesn't matter if its a PDF or .docx ... HELP!

@spider421 maybe try re-merging the files together again? I used this website and was able to upload it.

Not yet, I just submitted my app for the NICCU! I'm pretty nervous to start the video screen interview.
