CHLA Versant RN Residency September 2020 Cohort

Updated:   Published

Hi! I know the application for CHLA's RN Residency Program doesn't come out until March 2nd, 2020, but I just wanted to get a heads start!

I'm planning on applying for their NICCU and was curious if anyone knew what the prescreen interview would consist of?

hey everyone!

just applied and finished the video prescreen! does anyone know when we will hear back?!

I imagine it may take a little bit of time. It says interviews will be held April/May and from previous forum posts it looks like it took around 1 month to hear back about interviews. Hopefully sooner than later!

Specializes in pediatrics.

Applied to the Heart Institute!

Specializes in Pediatrics.

Just applied! Shoutout to all my fellow soon-to-be (hopefully) PICU nurses!

Anyone else feel weird recording themselves in the prescreen interview? LOL

Anyone know who to address the LOI to for Med Surg?

I didn’t know we had to address it! I just wrote why I want to work on the unit, that’s all the website said

I didn't address my letter of intent since they provided the template. I just wrote it more of a paragraph style.

Yeah I think it’ll be a little while. They have a ton of applications to sift through. The application doesn’t even close until next week if I read it right.

Anyone apply to ED? The questions seemed straight forward, but the video recording was really strange and new so we’ll see how I came across while answering.

@Fire2Nurse I applied to the ED as well!

Hi! I applied to D6 Rehab ?

Hello, Did any one else apply to Heme/Onc?
Doing the video was a little odd and it cut me off at 23 seconds. Wondering if anyone else had trouble with that? Wishing you all the best of luck!
