Just wanted to start a thread for applicants to the Children's Hospital LA Nurse Residency for March 2018 :)

Hey everyone! Just got an offer for 5 west today :) super excited. Hoping to get an email with all the details shortly.

Hi @criticalcaring ! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I applied to the NICCU as well but didn't get a 2nd interview. Do you mind me asking what your background is? Did you have additional certifications? did you know people in CHLA,? ...all that fun stuff. I am still looking for a job and would love to know what hospitals are looking for right now and what is going to make me stand out. I appreciate your help!

Every unit is different. I think it may also depend on the talent acquisition person helping out the unit. Had my interview for niccu on Friday and was offered a position yesterday (: Good luck to everyone.

I got a call today with an offer for the heart institute! I can't wait to see the email tomorrow with all the details. Hopefully it'll make it feel more official because right now it still feels surreal :) Did anyone else get an offer?
