Just wanted to start a thread for applicants to the Children's Hospital LA Nurse Residency for March 2018 :)

Did you by chance know when we should be hearing back in regards to a second interview if we get one?

Had my first (and maybe only?) interview with BMT for about 30 min, ALOT of personality questions and a couple clinical/behavioral ones that were pretty straightforward, it was with one manager and 4 nurse leads, which I totally did not expect! They said that I would be notified if I got the job in 1 or 2 days eeepp!!!

Just had my PICU speed interview. I was told if I make it to the second round I'll be notified next week and it will be with nurses who will make the final decision!

I had my heart institute speed screen yesterday. Keeping my fingers crossed till the end of the week!

Hello! I felt like it went well. The managers were very friendly and the staff were helpful in directing me to the interview. How did yours go?

So glad to have found an active thread for this upcoming cohort! (I had my PICU speed interview the other day and is it just me, or it was definitely not the basic 'Why CHLA/nursing" type of questions LOL) Good luck to everyone here!!! :')

Does anyone know what type of questions will be asked in the second round of interviews? My Speed Interview was basically full of "get to know me" questions, so I'm wondering if the second round will have more behavioral types of questions. I'm super nervous because it is a 1 hr interview.
