Hi all! Haven't seen a topic for the Children's National Nurse Residency for Fall 2021 so I figured I'd start one for anyone else applying!

Hi! Did you guys include cover letters and recommendation letters? I remember thinking these were required prior to applying but I don't see anything in the job ad about them. Thanks in advance!

Yes! Add transcript, cover letter, and two letters of rec

I applied to the HKU, NICU, and 7 east medical unit! I don't know if I should apply to more units for a greater chance of getting an offer somewhere or if that would look bad. How about you?

I spoke to the recruiter and she encouraged applying to more than one unit! I really want the NICU but it's also the most competitive so I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm going to apply to oncology and PICU but probably a couple other units as well.

I also just applied. I attached a cover letter, resume, and references but not reference letters. I only applied to PICU so far, I was thinking about applying to NICU and Trauma also. My end goal is OR and PICU is the best road to that.

Are you guys applying anywhere else?
