Hey so I applied to an NYP position and I got through to the interview with the patient care director and did the interview. However, they told me that I would hear back by the end of this week. When I checked on the Nyp career portal I saw that the job posting for some reason doubled and now there's one under active that says "application submitted" and another one under inactive that says no longer considered. What does this mean? Does this mean I didn't get it 😭. Like why is there two when I only applied once.

Hey, fellow NYC new grad here. I also went through 2 rounds of interview for a position last week. Here is my timeline with the update on my application:
10/13 Applied to position, "application submitted"
10/14 Received interview request, "in process"
10/16 Interview with recruiter/HR, received link for references, "assessment/references"
10/18 In-person interview, still "assessment/references"
The PCD (who was the nurse manager of the unit) said to hear back by next week. It's been one week and yet no response. Each day, it becomes a waiting game as I feel less hopeful and more anxious.

For me, the unit I was going for had a day and night position and I applied to both. I got the interview for the night position and it's still active. The day position became inactive and I was "no longer under consideration". That might be the case, if not, then I'm not sure. Hopefully you get the job!
