I received a phone call from their HR on May 4th to interview with a Nurse Recruiter (I believe). They're interviewing from May 16th-20th as far as I know (based on the dates the gave me - so I could be wrong).

How do you check your status?

i just go to the job listings, click on a random position to "apply" to, log in from there, and then i click the "applications" tab.

It really funny that I never bothered sending in the packet, but my status still says that my application is under review. Silly HR!

I just talked to a friend who works in the PICU at CHLA and said that you have to have a BSN to even be considered for the new grad program. I wish they had told us all that at the beginning of our ADN program. =(

Good luck to you all, I'm sure good things will be coming your way. The economy has made getting work in this.. "shortage" difficult. I have been out of school since 12/2010 & licensed since 02/2011.. still unemployed.. 1 interview down (didn't get the job) & this so far is my only other prospect. Keep your head up guys, it's only a matter of when we'll find work - not if!
