Here's a new thread for anyone who applied for the July 2020 Acute or Critical Care Nurse Residencies at Children's Health Dallas, we can keep each other updated! The application closes today (1/16)! I applied for both tracks!

Hi! I applied to both tracks as well. Does your application say active or inactive. Mine was active the 16th and now it says inactive.

Mine also says inactive, I think that just means they aren't accepting any new applications.

Heard back from the recruiter today! He sent an email with some behavioral interview questions and asked for my preferences for units. He said Feb 17th is the deadline to find out if you get an interview. Interviews are Feb 25th and 26th. I’m an internal candidate, so I don’t know if that makes a difference or not. Good luck y’all!

I wasn’t able to schedule, but he did ask which date I would be available if I were offered an interview. I returned his email with the answers to his questions, and he will forward that to the units I listed as my preferences. The managers will decide by 2/17 if they want to proceed with an interview. If so, it will happen on either the 25th or 26th (I told him I was flexible).

I heard back from a recruiter this evening, by email. He asked me my unit preferences and asked me to answer some situational questions. He did not ask me for my available dates.

I got the same email but I was not asked about dates. Also, is the NICU an option? In the email with the preferences, NICU wasn’t listed.
