Chemistry

Did any of you RN's take AP Chemistry in high school and did it help? I'm in it right now but my teacher is bad and I can't seem to get the hang of it. I know I take it my first semester in college with a lab, but should I tough it out even if I get a C in high school or would it be okay to drop it and just start in college? I like chemistry but I don't understand why I can't do well on tests and quizzes when I study and understand it at home.

I hated high school Chem. Loved college Chem!!! Took 2 semesters of college chemistry and 1 semester of organic chemistry. I highly recommend Khan Academy. I got through all 3 semesters of Chem with a 4.0 because of their wonderful tutorials. They made difficult concepts crystal clear

Never took Chem in high school. Did just fine in Chem in college.

Don't remember taking high school chemistry it was so long ago. Did have to take Organic & Inorganic chemistry plus genetics for my BSN. Glad I did take when it came to advance pharmokinetics for NP school.

Clepped Biology course but took it anyway as wanted to do well in A&P.

Some schools will have a chemistry for health majors.
