Hi!! Anyone here take their Chemeketa Kaplan exam this week?

While I am happy with my score, I am also nervous because I am now missing 2 points and have a total of 333/335. I was feeling good about the possibility of getting in but now I’m not so sure since I have counted at least 10+ people with max points. I hope I can at least make the alternate list. I have heard that people have gotten in with missing four points and sometimes more depending on how competitive it is that year with applicant numbers but I think that this year is going to be pretty competitive since only 30 (I may be wrong it might be 32) applicants got in last year and the ones that weren’t accepted might be trying again this year making the applicant numbers pretty high. Does anyone know how many applied this year? Good luck to everyone applying and I wish that there were more spots for us all to get in.
Good job on your score! Around 200 people took the test is what my nursing advisor told me. Where did you count 10+ people getting full points?

Also, since we don't know who everyone is IRL we might be counting full points people twice when we say "I know someone..." or "My friend said they know someone..." etc.
I think a lot of people apply multiple times even when acceptance rates are at normal levels. People may have drifted away from the program in the meantime.
333 is a great score and I am sure we will see you in the fall!

I think these are great points. There is still potential for those who get accepted to Chemeketa to decline and opt for another program. Everyone on this forum has done really well! Still wishing everyone the best of luck. We will become great future nurses!

I found out starting next year they will require a CNA license as a requirement to get into the program ?
Noooooo! I have accepted that I probably won't get in this year being at 329/335, but then to apply next year and adding that. ? I think if anything they should make it extra points, not a requirement.

Right. That’s where I’m at. I really don’t want to get a CNA license.
