Chemeketa Community College Nursing Program Fall 2016

I am applying to Chemeketa's nursing program for Fall 2016. I am curious if anyone has any information about the test that they will be doing now instead of the essay? I'm mostly wondering how it will be graded? I wish we weren't the first year to have to do the test.. I'm worried about how it will be.

I've heard anything over a 75% is super competitive. A lot of people that I've talked to have gotten in the low 70's.

I agree I think that low seventies is pretty standard so if your over 75 then your in good shape

Watch your time on each section, especially reading and writing. Study decimals/fractions/percentages for math. Reading is pretty general.

Does anyone know how many alternates were accepted last year? I saw 17 out of 20 were accepted for the 2014 program

They got up to alternate number 8 last year.

So just out of curiosity, what score would you guys be happy with? I am still trying to decide if I should retake mine or not. I did some research about past years and it looks like people with scores around 357 could get in. Given that was with the essay, so I am not sure how that will change it this year.

I'm not sure.. I felt like I would be okay with anything over 80, but people getting 80 and 81 said they needed to retake it. So that makes me nervous.
