Chemeketa Community College Applicants 2011

Just thought I would start a thread to see who else applied to Chemeketa. We should receive our scores in the next few weeks. The suspense is hard. I also applied to OHSU's BSN program.

I am so tempted to email Chemeketa's nursing people and ask about letters, but I doubt they will give me a specific answer. I'm thinking (hoping) around June 1st at the latest. I looked at their site and they already have the 2012 application items up, which is a good sign...

I just called PCC and asked if they were still planning on sending out the acceptance letters next week and they said that now they are not planning on send them out until June 1st!! Frustrating! Has anyone else heard anything?

Augh! I didn't apply to chemeketa but I'm wondering if the other OCNE schools are in the same boat...

I called clackamas yesterday to ask if their letters had gone out. The woman told me they should've gone out last week, but the person who knew if they were for sure sent out wasn't in that day...:down: If I don't get a decision today I'll call again. I don't think they realize how stressful this is. :confused:

I read last year posts and it looks like people received acceptance letters on May 31st. So probably it should be around same time this year.

I called Nursing office today and they said letters will go out in June, wouldn't tell me specific date.

Has anyone received a letter of acceptance from Chemeketa yet? I just got my acceptance from PCC today; still waiting to hear back from Chemeketa.

Seriously?! They had points tallied early May and they still need more time. That is frustrating because I am going to have to send in my $200 deposit to OHSU just in case Chemeketa doesn't work out for me. Thanks for checking!!

If you look at Chemeketa's fall 2012 info, it says letters arrive mid June..... seriously what takes so long???
