Chemeketa Community College Applicants 2011

Just thought I would start a thread to see who else applied to Chemeketa. We should receive our scores in the next few weeks. The suspense is hard. I also applied to OHSU's BSN program.

Seriously?! They had points tallied early May and they still need more time. That is frustrating because I am going to have to send in my $200 deposit to OHSU just in case Chemeketa doesn't work out for me. Thanks for checking!!

I would call ---- and explain your situation. I'm sure she would give you more information on when letters are mailed. And if you do, would you please share information the with us? :)

I had a dream about getting letters last night. I have done a good job to not obsess while I'm awake, but I can't control my dreams! Haha. I want them to come already.

I find myself daydreaming about walking to the mailbox and opening up an acceptance letter. I think about who I should call first or clever ways to tell my mom. Silly I know...I just want an ACCEPTANCE letter so bad. I think I will be crushed if I don't get one. Yes, I'll get over it and move forward after awhile. I'm hoping for a letter this week, but I said that last week. My mail arrives after 3pm, so I usually check this site to see if anyone else has received one earlier in the day. Good luck, we better be classmates :)

I don't blame you, it's hard to wait for so long for letter. So many colleges already sent acceptance letters already.

Chemeketa's Dean of Nursing says letters to be mailed next week....

I talked to my friend thats in the nursing program and he was informed they got through 21 of the 26 alternates from 2010. He then said that of the 5 left 4 got in once people dropped. He said their is only 1 alternate left that he knows of that reapplied. I so hope thats true!

Ive been asking him a million questions lol. He also said 48 were exceptes for 2010 and they are down to like 32 or 34 due to people dropping or getting kicked out to due to grades or multiple med errors. Which kind of frustrates me as to why they dont except more people knowing quite a few wont make it. My aunt found out she got in to linn bentons program... So hope I get in!!!
