Garden- I applied for it even before I knew I was accepted. This was a few months ago, and I haven't heard anything. Champ-If you are an alternate you might want to look into it. I believe they say it takes 10 weeks to process (I think). What alternate number are you? Good luck, I'm sure it's hard waiting. Hopefully, you will know soon. I'm rooting for you :)

I received a letter. I'm very grateful to say that I got accepted into the program.:)

I have done great up until this morning. My nerves are back. It is the same feeling I get right before an A&P test. I need my letter. :) Does anyone else have this same feeling?

I find myself daydreaming about walking to the mailbox and opening up an acceptance letter. I think about who I should call first or clever ways to tell my mom. Silly I know...I just want an ACCEPTANCE letter so bad. I think I will be crushed if I don't get one. Yes, I'll get over it and move forward after awhile. I'm hoping for a letter this week, but I said that last week. My mail arrives after 3pm, so I usually check this site to see if anyone else has received one earlier in the day. Good luck, we better be classmates :)

I would call ---- and explain your situation. I'm sure she would give you more information on when letters are mailed. And if you do, would you please share information the with us? :)

I really hope it doesn't come down to random selection, but I'm also afraid it may. Al34, do you think maybe last year you didn't get full points on your essay? I really hope that was the case because what a bummer it would be to not been selected with full points possible (including essay). I'm just hoping they didn't want to go to random selection this year and give out less 50's. I just want to be accepted so bad which makes it hard to not think about.

Congrats, what an awesome feeling I'm sure. Nice job on getting full points on your essay even when you didn't have to. Do you know of a lot of people who applied with the alternate points?

I also didn't get accepted. Keep your "chin up." I feel like getting into nursing school takes skill and a little luck. There are so many other deserving and qualified applicants that didn't get in. Our time will come! I can't wait for the day I get to open up my acceptance letter. Hopefully that will be soon, right? Did you apply to any other school?

When you said there was 97 people who got a 50 on the essay, were you referring to this year or last years essays?

I'm right there with you...hoping, praying, and crossing my fingers. Before I did my essay I asked the lady checking us in how many applicants there were and she said 270. I thought that sounded higher than normal, but I'm not sure. I hope they send the letters out sooner than later.

Yes, I did get a 50, with 360 total. I'm really hoping that score will get us in. I really hope that they don't have to go to a tie-breaker. Do you think our chances are better this year because of the essay scores spreading the points out? Congrats again, I'm sure you are celebrating
