Garden- I applied for it even before I knew I was accepted. This was a few months ago, and I haven't heard anything. Champ-If you are an alternate you might want to look into it. I believe they say it takes 10 weeks to process (I think). What alternate number are you? Good luck, I'm sure it's hard waiting. Hopefully, you will know soon. I'm rooting for you :)

I received a letter. I'm very grateful to say that I got accepted into the program.:)

I have done great up until this morning. My nerves are back. It is the same feeling I get right before an A&P test. I need my letter. :) Does anyone else have this same feeling?

I find myself daydreaming about walking to the mailbox and opening up an acceptance letter. I think about who I should call first or clever ways to tell my mom. Silly I know...I just want an ACCEPTANCE letter so bad. I think I will be crushed if I don't get one. Yes, I'll get over it and move forward after awhile. I'm hoping for a letter this week, but I said that last week. My mail arrives after 3pm, so I usually check this site to see if anyone else has received one earlier in the day. Good luck, we better be classmates :)

I would call ---- and explain your situation. I'm sure she would give you more information on when letters are mailed. And if you do, would you please share information the with us? :)

I really hope it doesn't come down to random selection, but I'm also afraid it may. Al34, do you think maybe last year you didn't get full points on your essay? I really hope that was the case because what a bummer it would be to not been selected with full points possible (including essay). I'm just hoping they didn't want to go to random selection this year and give out less 50's. I just want to be accepted so bad which makes it hard to not think about.

Congrats, what an awesome feeling I'm sure. Nice job on getting full points on your essay even when you didn't have to. Do you know of a lot of people who applied with the alternate points?

I also didn't get accepted. Keep your "chin up." I feel like getting into nursing school takes skill and a little luck. There are so many other deserving and qualified applicants that didn't get in. Our time will come! I can't wait for the day I get to open up my acceptance letter. Hopefully that will be soon, right? Did you apply to any other school?

When you said there was 97 people who got a 50 on the essay, were you referring to this year or last years essays?

I'm right there with you...hoping, praying, and crossing my fingers. Before I did my essay I asked the lady checking us in how many applicants there were and she said 270. I thought that sounded higher than normal, but I'm not sure. I hope they send the letters out sooner than later.

Yes, I did get a 50, with 360 total. I'm really hoping that score will get us in. I really hope that they don't have to go to a tie-breaker. Do you think our chances are better this year because of the essay scores spreading the points out? Congrats again, I'm sure you are celebrating

My mail just came and no letter. I'm guessing that is not a good sign. I will now have to wait until Monday

Great Job! I have around a 3.8, so I'm not getting my hopes up to high. I'm very anxious to hear back from Chemeketa, which is my #1 choice. Wouldn't it be nice to have to choose what school to go too?

Wow, I can't believe letters are already sent out for OHSU. Congrats to everyone accepted, you should be so proud. I will also be stocking my mailman. Does anyone already accepted want to share their pre-req GPA, if not that is ok too?

Congrats on your score :) I'm hoping they will be mailed the week after the 13th. I'm thinking this because the e-mail they sent sounded like they want to send them asap. I think these next few weeks may be the longest wait of them all.

I wouldn't count yourself out. That is a great score.

I'm in-district too. I really hope that everyone with perfect scores gets accepted. It would be a bummer to not get accepted using the "picking out of a hat" method. I would be awesome if people with 48 and 49 did too, because those are excellent scores. I guess it's hard to know, right?

Hello, I also got 50/50. My overall score is 360 points (I didn't have any alternate points). I know of one other 50 and a 47. Does anyone mind sharing their overall score. The wait continues......

Julie, I know that they deduct points if you don't follow the directions on the essay. They also take off points for showing up late to the essay. I got to my essay super early, so I had some time to observe. While I was there I saw 4 people who showed up late. I didn't show up early for that particular reason, I just didn't want to be late myself.

Hello, I've asked myself this question a 1000 times. I don't think anyone of us could give you the correct answer. I'm guessing that it is "equally both." I keep going over my essay in my head hoping it is good enough. I've been looking for my score everyday, actually a few times a day Good Luck, and try not to stress. This is coming from someone who is stressing at the moment...lol!
