Just thought I would start a thread to see who else applied to Chemeketa. We should receive our scores in the next few weeks. The suspense is hard. I also applied to OHSU's BSN program.

I was excited too finally get my essay score. I've got 50 pts,my overall is 360 and I'm in-district student. Congrats to everyone!! How long do we wait untill get actual letters?

You applied to OHSU, right? If you get into both, which would you choose?

I would choose Chemeketa over OHSU. I'm on wait list for OHSU Accel, didn't get accepted there.

I am really bummed! I got 47/50 on the essay! My total overall score is 355. = ( I thought that seemed good until I saw that people got 50/50 on the essay!

Congrats on your score :) I'm hoping they will be mailed the week after the 13th. I'm thinking this because the e-mail they sent sounded like they want to send them asap. I think these next few weeks may be the longest wait of them all.

Hi there im a ccc student praying I get in I got 50/50 and a 360 total I know of 2 people that got a 48. Im so worried that u can have a perfect score and still not get in. how many appkicants are there this year?

I'm right there with you...hoping, praying, and crossing my fingers. Before I did my essay I asked the lady checking us in how many applicants there were and she said 270. I thought that sounded higher than normal, but I'm not sure. I hope they send the letters out sooner than later.

I heard that most years they have over 300 apply so thats not too bad. I have a buddy thats a first year nursing student and he said there was about 97 ppl that got a 50 on the essay. But he said it was only a tie breaker. And he said quite a few ppl that got perfect essay scores didnt have full points for the worksheet of prerequisites.

If anybody gets a letter or finds out when it'll be mailed out for sure. Please share. Hopefully it won't come to drawing from the hat but they'll select based on scores.

I heard that most years they have over 300 apply so thats not too bad. I have a buddy thats a first year nursing student and he said there was about 97 ppl that got a 50 on the essay. But he said it was only a tie breaker. And he said quite a few ppl that got perfect essay scores didnt have full points for the worksheet of prerequisites.

This year they use essay as an actual part of total score.

When you said there was 97 people who got a 50 on the essay, were you referring to this year or last years essays?
