I have one final class exam this wednesday, then the chem final next week...I already lost my A, so I'm just working on keeping my B...good luck everyone

I should be getting ready to take my Chem final right now, but I don't have to because I am exempt!!! My professor has this great policy where anyone who has over a 90% average on their exams, quizzes & extra credit gets an A in the class & is exempt from taking the final. My average was a 95%. Woo hoo! It is such a relief. I never in a million years thought I would be getting an A in chemistry!

Yay for a B- :lol2:I clawed scratched and fought for this one. I was so sure I failed I registered for chem for next semester. Off to go drop it now.

My final for Chem was supposed to be Tuesday, but with the yucky midwest weather school was closed . . . just got an e-mail saying we will take it Sat 9 a.m. I have a B, just hoping to stay at that grade. I really wish it was over with already!

I had my last class lecture exam today...because of a series of evens, my chem prof practically wrote the test up minutes before class, so this was supposed to be the EASIEST test of the semester. But, unfortunately, because I was so focused on passing my biology and anatomy lab practicals, I didn't focus too much on the chem....sigh!. So far, my average going into the finals is borderline B, B-...it can go either way, and I will be highly upset if I get anything below a B- because I need a C+ in this class to remain in the nursing program

Well, I haven't posted here in ages b/c I've been busy studying and trying to hold onto my "A". My class meets Friday/Saturday so this weekend comprises our last 2 meetings. Friday I give my chemistry presentation (ugh, I hate public speaking) and take our 5th exam and Saturday we have our Final exam (apparently it's a multiple choice test put out by the American Chemical Society - anyone else have to take this?) Wish me luck!!! I'm afraid my presentation will drop me to a "B", but I can't let my grade drop lower than a "B" in the class or I'm in deep ....

I'm so going to celebrate next week! At least I'll have completed one more pre-requisite! :balloons:

Well, my final chem grade is only a C. I'm not real happy about that but I guess at least I don't have to retake it.

I'm going into the final with a 82 test average (B-). Ii can go either way at this point, and I will be grateful if I just get at least a c+. Overwise, I will have to repeat it.

Hi everyone,

I haven't posted since the begining of the term, honestly....I was to busy trying to keep up with my Chem and Biology to do much else. Everything ended well though, I kept my GPA up :) Yay!!

I really surpised myself actually....I'm thinking of getting a Chem minor when I get my BSN :) Weird, I know :)

I finally got my official grade and I am estatic. I got a B-. This means I will be on the wait list as of Dec.17th.

I am kind of freaking out waiting for my final chem grade.

2 weeks ago I had a 100 test grade average in the class and a 98 overall class average. Our class was way behind the sylabus and so our prof. skimmed 13 chapters in the last couple of classes. Now typically he lets us correct our errors and earn back 25% of what the question was worth if we want to. There was no time for this for the last test (the one I really needed it for since we spent about 3 hours class time on 13 freaking chapters...) and so I wound up with an 87 on that test. The final was cumalitive and so it included a bunch of information on those chapters also and so now I'm freaking out that I am going to loose my damn A in the class. I know I wont fail the class but I worked my ass off all semster to get that 98 average and if I lose it now because he fell behind in the syllabus there is going to be some hell to pay!!
