Chem for health sciences- review the following which will be covered in the beginning and throughout:
Dimensional analysis- how to set up problems
Metric System- US system of measurements - Conversions
Atoms, Protons, Neutrons, Electrons
Periodic "Table
calorie/joule- how to solve for kcals or grams for fat, protein/carb

It is not hard but you have to practice doing problems-
Good luck

Hi guys. I talked to an adviser and she strongly recommended that I take chem before AP, so I am just going to listen to her after much, much wrestling. I already found what professor I want. She seems like a tough but good professor.
I am a bit worried because I am terrified of chemistry.
Does any on have tips or good books they used on the side to study? I saw Chemistry Demystified and it seemed alright. Of course I don't know for sure since it's Chinese to me, lol. I am going to take it with either Human growth and development or critical thinking. Or both. Whatever. So yeah, any tips would be greaaaat.
Oh btw the chem I am taking is "CHM 1033 Chemistry for allied health sciences".
love, Marggie:heartbeat
