Is there another route for A&P that may be less expensive then the Excelsior exam for A&P and mico? Outside of the community college route... as I want to get out of the way quickly.

Straighterline offers a self-paced A&P course with lab for $99 per month. If you can complete the A&P in a month, all you will have paid is the $99 plus fees.

be careful, though...some schools wont accept credits from any old place. check with the nursing school you intend to go to, before you sign up
Thank you I am going through excelsior.
Awesome! Last question lol... There which A&P option will give me the credit I need. There is I and II both with and without a lab. I had a previous A&P from the tech school where I received my LPN but they will not take it : ( Seems a little unfair if they are willing to accept Ace credits...

Be aware that you are limited to a total of seven ACE credits with EC. If you have questions about which one they will accept, you should call the school for clarification.

EC will not accept straighterline for core classes including Micro & A&P. This is specifically stated even on the Straighterline website.
Straighterline grants ACE credit for their A&P course, which is accepted by Excelsior for transfer credit.
Not A&P and Micro or any other core nursing class
