Hello, I am creating this form for nursing students in the Charlotte area to connect and discuss our insight on the interviewing process, units and our hospital of choice.
To start off, I am a 2024 new grad looking for insight on ATRIUM and Novant health. I do currently have an interview for Novant next week looking to work in the ER.

Someone I know that started as an ICU nurse and now works in L&D there says it's a very busy environment.
Are any of you guys going to the Novant nurse event this month?

Same, I recently applied to Wake Forest Brenner Children's on a whim not realizing they were also Atrium and heard back within a couple hours. I'm wondering if that was included in the "all locations". ?
I've had multiple clinicals at Brenners. They are great! I think the reason why we haven't heard back is because Charlotte is an extremely competitive market. The applications for atrium are separate for the Charlotte and Winston market- because Winston is technically considered wake forest health... it's a little confusing haha!
When did you heard from the Nicu? I've only heard from oncology. I have an interview Thursday but was wondering what would happen if I was extended an offer for oncology and if I would be able to wait till I heard back from all specialties to decide where if I want to take the position, or if I won't be able to wait.

I've been waiting to hear back from the NICU too ? how long ago did they reach out?

I interviewed for Levine Children's Hospital. I heard from them on Dec 25th and had an interview on the 29th. I did not get the position and the interviewer had told me that they were only accepting 4 new grads for the NICU.

They reached out to me on the 25th and I interviewed on the 29th. However, they reached out to me today regarding my decision.
