Hello,
I'm new to this board and just recently got an email to attend an interview for the clinical nurse leader - entry level masters of nursing next week at Charles drew university. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten an interview? I would like to talk to some of you interested in attending this program. I visited the campus and spoke to some faculty, it seems like an amazing place. Look forward to talking to some of you in the same boat as I am in.
Sincerely,
Ms1988
I went ahead and registered for classes today after receiving the email today with the registration information. I have my physical tomorrow. Last week, I did my BLS training. So, I hope to have everything done by the 29th. I can't believe school is in a few weeks.
How did you register for classes? I followed the instructions in activating my account but I cant because I dont have a User Name. Or maybe I'm overlooking it? Where did you find your user name? I tried my email and that's not it.
Ms 1988,This site doesn't let you put names or links so I can't put the name, but it looks like she just sent out another one a few minutes ago with the orientation agenda and said she's sending out the registration one to each individual student shortly. Did you get that one? If that doesn't arrive, I can PM you the name or you can call and ask how you go about registering. It could be they misspelled your email or sent it to the wrong person.
I emailed someone from the last email we got and they said that they are figuring out some peoples information still and will be sending out the information sometime next week.

Cool. I hope everything gets straightened out. The good thing is, it's not like undergrad where you had to worry about all the seats filling up before you're able to register. There were plenty of open seats when I registered and I'm pretty sure they'll also make sure that you register for all your classes at orientation. I wouldn't worry about it. You're in..now enjoy the next 2 weeks. :)
ggurl,
Yes I saw that too. I saw a few of our classes on Saturday and Sunday and I was like wait a minute that's not going to work lol..but then I realized that this included seats for the Nurse Practioner program, which is on the weekends. The only times that we need to look at are the one's M-F. On the registration schedule they included all the times of the classes for all levels, even the ones that don't apply to us. It's a little confusing and I was second guessing it for a minute too because I thought they were going to take up every day of our life lol but don't be alarmed.
Ok good. I was a little worried when I saw the weekend classes.
We have 9 days til orientation!! I'm still pretty surprised they're asking us to bring our laptops.. considering we used the computer rooms to take the teas. Mine barely lasts an hour unplugged and I haven't made plans to go shopping for a new one yet since i'm waiting for the loans.
Hey everyone, i just want to thank all of you for helping me. I have a question for the people who registered already. What is the exact schedule for our classes because the temporary schedule has some class that say 1-3 or 3 -5, i was just wondering when you registered what was the exact time so i would know. thanks for all the help

Yea it's on the sheet they emailed us for Fall 2011 Schedule under Cohort 3 (us :)). For NUR 511 the clinical is from 9/27-11/29. We may have another 1 because it said they we might have one on Friday, but they will let us know shortly after school starts. I'm excited!
