Hello,
I'm new to this board and just recently got an email to attend an interview for the clinical nurse leader - entry level masters of nursing next week at Charles drew university. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten an interview? I would like to talk to some of you interested in attending this program. I visited the campus and spoke to some faculty, it seems like an amazing place. Look forward to talking to some of you in the same boat as I am in.
Sincerely,
Ms1988
What do we wear for orientation? I want to wear jeans and a t-shirt BUT we have a Deans luncheon... should we wear interview clothes again?
I was wondering as well. I was going to call up there tomorrow & see if there is a specific dress code. I don't see any reason why we can't come casual or semi-casual since it wasn't stated (as long as it doesn't look like we're going to the beach or a picnic or to the club or something lol). However, last week when I was @ CDU to turn in my award letter, the College of Science and Health were having their orientation that day and they were all dressed up. One guy had on a full suit.
Then again business attire may have been specifically stated in their instructions for orientation and it could be completely different for us. We have to get fitted for uniforms, take ID pics, and it's also 8 hours long, so it may make it a bit more comfortable if we are casual. If you find out anything please let us know.
