  1. I honestly don't remember Update: my former cohort members informed me that Hesi wasn't implemented during the course of our program...we didn't have to take it
  2. Hello! Drew is no different from other schools, what you get out of it depends upon what you put into it, cliche, but it's true. I didn't really have a problem landing a job out of school and neither did a few people from my cohort , however, from my experience. .a Masters degree works against you. Just be charismatic in your interviews and you should land a job ...it also depends upon the saturation of the job market for RNs. Even before that, focus on the curriculum. .network and you'll be fine. Good luck
  3. I graduated in June with my entry level MSN. Its for people who hold previous Bachelor degrees with no prior RN experience
  4. I wish some of the people who went through this program before can give us some advice
  5. Any speculations on when this program will start?
  6. I am anxious to see how this process works. From previous posts, the process seems quick.
  7. Im in the front, first row, forth person from the opened door. I see a guy in a checkered shirt in the back row
  8. Im here. Im wearing black pants and shoes lol. Who else is here?
  9. I'm not a nurse yet, However, from what I understand, the training you received holds alot of weight-especially in the department from which you received it. I would put that experience on my resume and find a creative way to explain what happened while not disclosing that you were actually fired. There are many words in the English language and if you arrange them perfectly, you wil get the most of this world. And if that doesn't work then revise your resume and omit that part. Good luck!
  10. I'm thinking jeans, t shirt, tennis shoes
  11. What do we wear for orientation? I want to wear jeans and a t-shirt BUT we have a Deans luncheon... should we wear interview clothes again?
  12. OP, I totally get what you were trying to do with this post. I can see why some may be on edge but IMO, your original thought/message/intent was clear... Its meant to be fun!
  13. Depending on what state you're in you can do an accelerated MSN program too. I also have a BS in Biology and I just got accepted into an EL (entry level) MSN, RN, CNL (clinical nurse leadership role). Sorry, I can't answer your other questions...
  14. excuse my typos & short replys. I'm on my phone
  15. I wasnt able to register for the classes where clinical rotations were the co-req. I was only able to register for two classes. It is great that its not lile UG.
