Charity SON Spring 2014

Published

Hi! I noticed that there were a few people around the forums that were going to apply to Charity for spring of 2014. I was wondering if Charity would accept a HESI score that I took for LSU? LSU was my first choice and now it's Charity. I still plan on getting a BSN, but I'd like to get working as soon as possible. Any advice on the HESI score? I plan on giving them a call, but I'm not exactly sure who I should speak with---or if I can get anyone on the phone.

I posted in wrong area and couldn't delete it.

SueBoo...I just finished Nursing II with that Team and it was great! EJ has very sweet and helpful nurses that will answer any questions you have, and Smart is excellent! U also will get to spend a day of clinical in both the OR and PACU, which for me was awesome! I def learned so much! As far as the Ebooks are concerned I don't know a single student that likes them! I myself haven't used them since first semester and even then it was just to look up terms.

Nomnica congrats on getting to Level 3.

Congrats on making it through level 1. I start in the fall. Do u have any tips/advice on anything. I now that's pretty vague but I have sooooooooooo many questions. Lol. Ebooks? Did u use them? Anything I can do now to start preparing for pharmacology? Can use all the advice you have. Congrats again and good luck

Do any of you still have your level 1 syllabus? I just downloaded the ebook bundle and this semester it contains 14 books. I'd like to be able to start exposing myself to some things that will be covered during the semester but with that many books I have no idea where to start. If any of you can point the fall class in the right direction, I'm sure we would all appreciate it.

Hi! I found this while googling "Will I get in to Charity" lol. Anyway, I think I'm ready to apply to the program. I just re-took the HESI and scored an 85, which pulled my profile score up to an 80. I'm going to visit Mrs. Wilson within the next week or so, but I'm trying to get some opinions on whether or not these scores are high enough to be accepted. I want to apply this August for the 2015 Spring semester. If anyone could help a sister out, give it to me straight lol!

thank you!!! :))

You shouldn't have any problems getting in with a score of 80. But who knows what others are going to be applying with. I got in with a 75. Ill be starting in the fall. Good luck and let us know what happens!!!

p.s. when the time comes, don't feel bad about stalking your mail carrier!!!

Hi, and congrats to everyone who got in for the Fall 2014!

If anyone needs a blood pressure cuff (I barely used mine in level 1) I have one I'm am trying to give away. It is brand new! Please direct message me if any new or current nursing students are interested!!

thanks!

@naeema_rnhopeful; Hi!! I was wondering, did you get accepted?! I have a 75 profile score as well, and I am not feeling very confident!! Sent off my applications on Monday, so hopefully I get in!!

Hey. I have a question for those of you who have already entered the program. For the ebooks, how much space do they take up on a tablet/ipad?

I have it on my iPad and it doesn't take up too much space, but I only downloaded the books we needed on my iPad and I have all the books downloaded on my computer. Hope this helps!
