Charity School of Nursing for Spring 2016

Published

Hi friends,

I am applying for the Charity School of Nursing in August to begin Spring 2016.

I had a question though--do I need to take all my pre-requisite courses at Delgado or can I take them elsewhere?

Thanks in advance,

Brynne

Can anyone give some insight on these Charity appointments? It does seem like its for counseling, but what do they tell you exactly? I have a bachelors in biology, but I am taking AnP lab right now bc I never took the lab. I need to take Anp 2 w/ lab as well and I'll be done with all non nursing courses. I hope that gives me an edge to get accepted for the Spring of 16'. I also need to take the Hesi, being nervous is no joke! LOL Good luck everyone.

Well for me, I scheduled an appointment with an advisor for my own personal concerns. I really wanted to know where I stand before applying for the spring. I was confusing myself just trying to figure everything out on my own. :)

Hey guys. I will be starting this fall. Please make sure you save up. Once you get accepted the expenses are a lot and come quickly. I have already spent close to $800 and still have more to do. That does not include the $600 book fee. So please make sure you save.

@whit_504 Wow!!! Thanks for the info. What was your profile score?

Yes. Plan on about $3k total for first semester. There is a lot of up front costs. Books (that cover the whole program), uniforms, stethoscope, Bo cuff, etc. plus tuition and fees ($1891 for my first semester)

Our fees for the first semester is over $2000!!!

My score was 70!

Hi everyone I am also applying in August and I am a bit nervous I just took the hesi for the 3rd time and made a 90 my GPA is a 3.0.

good luck to everyone

does anyone know if they are accepting applications on August 1st since it is a Saturday?

Charity is only open mon-Thursday during summer

I received an email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). Any classes from spring 2011 to current will be considered for the spring 2016 application period.

Yes, I weren't sure if my classes in 2010 were counted against me. The advisor told me only the classes from Spring 2011 - Present mattered.

Hey y'all. I hope everyone is well. I'm excited and anxious and nervous as we get closer. I made a post for everyone to talk if y'all want to. https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/charity-school-of-1001670.html

Does anyone happen to know how many students they accept in one semester?
