Hey Everyone,
I'm sure that I'm making this post more for myself than anyone else but I'm just so excited and anxious! It's only a few days until the application period starts! I don't know about y'all but my application has been done since May. Lol. With 80 points on my profile score I'm feeling pretty confident but I just can't wait until October/November. I've even started looking at stethoscopes and shoes. I hope you are all as excited as I am and please feel free to express your joy, frustration, nervousness, ect. here with me and everyone else. Good luck with your applications and I wish acceptance for you all.
I'm torn between turning in my application now or just waiting & applying for the Fall semester. My profile score is very low compared to others. Does anyone know how big of a factor it is? I guess I'm just really afraid of rejection... Instead I'm opting to just wait to apply for the Fall, in hopes that my profile score will increase after finishing all of my non-nursing courses.

Apply anyway! You never know what the cutoff will be. Plus once you are rejected you can go sit down with them. They can help you improve your score. That is what I did. And it worked 😊
I went through that last application period. I applied anyway. Just bc I didn't want to miss an opportunity. It doesn't cost anything and can't hurt to try. When I applied I already had a thought that I wouldn't get in so when I didn't I wasn't surprised. Just knew I had to bring my score up for this time
Hey everyone. If you get an email about your transcript being uploaded (for people that have gone to schools other than Delgado) make sure to log into Lola and check it. When they uploaded mine it was saying that I had 133 attempted hours, which is extremely inaccurate. Having the wrong number of hours can effect your financial aid and your GPA in a negative way. If you have this problem you will have to go to the admissions office to correct it.
Welcome to the club! Lol. I turned mine in on the 3rd and I'm still nervous. Not just about being accepted but about the application itself (was everything right, any typos...) And I checked it at least 10 times. Lol. I started this thread as a way for us to meet each other and have a support group for the weeks of agonizing. Family and friends just don't get it! This is a huge deal for us and I'm glad that there are people here that are active in conversation and supportive! So thanks to everyone who has been commenting! Hopefully we won't have to wait too long, and even if we do we always have each other.

You should bring it in with the packet so that they can submit and approve your paperwork at the same time.
