Charity School of Nursing Application for SP 2016

Hey Everyone,

I'm sure that I'm making this post more for myself than anyone else but I'm just so excited and anxious! It's only a few days until the application period starts! I don't know about y'all but my application has been done since May. Lol. With 80 points on my profile score I'm feeling pretty confident but I just can't wait until October/November. I've even started looking at stethoscopes and shoes. I hope you are all as excited as I am and please feel free to express your joy, frustration, nervousness, ect. here with me and everyone else. I received a phone call regarding my application from an advisor on yesterday. I was so nervous but they needed a course description from one of my completed courses. I didn't even think they made phone calls to applicants. She told me to fax the info to Charity. I guess it's back to the wait.������

It's great that they let you know you were missing something and are letting you submit it after the application deadline. I've heard of people not getting in because they were missing paperwork and didn't know. That's why I brought mine in in person.

This forum has been my lifeline for all application info. Thanks to all who shared their experience and scores. It really helps calm the nerves. Being optimistic, I hope we only have a couple more weeks to wait. Good luck!!

I called Friday bc I'm impatient. They still say expected mail out date is oct 30th. Hopeful for the end of the month though!

Supposedly they say that so we won't call and bug them. However, I did stalk the previous forums for this time last year and the letters were received around September 24th. I did some thinking and it makes no sense for the letters to go out at the end of October because then we only have 2.5 months to get everything together. The spring applicants get their letters at the end of march but have until august to get their stuff together, while we do not have that luxury of summer preparation. I'm still counting down. Next week will be here before we know it and hopefully it will be fruitful! Good luck everyone!!
