Yes, I went to LSU in BR and I loved it but hated the traffic and how busy BR was and that's part of the reason I want to go to nursing school in the city.

Thats good that you applied there also though! I liked Our Lady of the Lake a lot but I wasn't too into the location. I wanted a school in New Orleans for some reason.. I'm so weird haha

Oh and what is one major struggle you've had to deal with and how did you overcome that struggle? Name a time when your morals and values were challenge and how you overcame that? How do you deal with diversity? And also have some questions prepared to ask them.

I talked to a few people I know and they said they might ask Why nursing? Why LSUHSC? Who is your support system and how will it affect you in school? How will you deal with the stress of school? Tell me about yourself. What are qualities that a nurse should have? What does the nursing profession mean and what does nursing mean to you? Who is your role model? Why should we choose you? What measures did you take in order to prepare for this level of your nursing career?

I have mine at 2:30 tomorrow right after i get off of work and I'm really freaking out too.. My sister is asking me some of the possible questions and I can't even answer correctly. This is driving me crazy!!

Hey yall! I just scheduled my interview yesterday and I'm freaking out! Instead of studying for my exam tomorrow I'm worrying about this interview.. wow. Has anybody heard what questions they might be asking?? I have to prepare myself big time because I am not the best at interviews

Hey Ladies, I'm also applying! I'm so nervous! Does anybody have a recommendation for how to come up with a good essay title. I've written my whole essay but can't seem to think of a decent title. A friend of mine put "They will love the way you make them feel." I just felt like that example wasn't too great.. idk i could be wrong.

This may be a stupid question, but for all of you who turned in your application packet.. do I bring it to charity or to delgado?? I'm going tomorrow!

Agreed!!! This is why I took summer classes and also why if I don't get in I don't know what I'm going to do because Ill be so bored waiting a whole semester retaking my C classes

If you buy the hesi study guide I think its the 3rd version, it tells you pretty much everything you need to study.. but they didn't really make a big deal about conversions. And you do need to know those!!! I barely looked at the conversions thinking it wasn't going to be on there and turns out they were and they were also fill in!! Haha I'm going to retake my hesi, but i got an 82 on it.

Right?! I don't want to have to sit out a semester, I'm ready to start ASAP!!
