character scrubs

Published

I recently accepted a position within an exclusive children's hospital. Our only real dress code is to be kid friendly. I'm searching for a new variety of scrubs, and was wondering where you all get the best deals on the character printed tops?

I'd hate to sound like a stingy cheapie, but Wal-Mart has quality Disney cartoon character scrub sets. Also, you can find colorful, "kid-friendly" scrubs on http://www.Ebay.com that are reasonably priced.

I get a lot of mine at Walmart. They seem to keep up to date with holiday scrubs with disney characters, etc.

well, here's really cheap and easy

I went to the local craft store and got some iron-on patches (they have Disney, Pooh, and other kiddie oriented ones) and ironed them onto my present solid color scrubs, you can do on pockets or upper left chest area.

If you're talented with a needle (the thread kind) you can also find cute buttons to sew on, I found teddy bears, alligators, smiley faces.

At least for now, till after the holidays, when I might have a few extra dollars, I have cute "character scrubs" for only a few dollars.

i know of two places that i find to be really good when it comes to discounts. you can sign up for both to get catalogs in the mail...uniform city sometimes sends coupons for 30% off which is really good.

Uniform City is great with their coupons. I work in a GP pediatric office, the kids & parents always comment on my pediatric scrub prints it puts a smile on their face. The place I have seen the largest selection of pediatric prints is Nurses Medical Uniforms | Men Medical Scrubs | Shop Scrubs just got a cute Minnie Mouse top lots of smiles from!!

Cherokee4less.com and Uniform Advantage are my favorite places to get scrubs online. I have been a peds nurse since getting my license....so if I ever do adults (HA!) I'll have to get boring scrubs. :)...but that'll never happen so bring on the Disney!
