CGFNS inquiry: CES NCLEX

Published

I applied for CGFNS last June 2017. I already completed the requirements. "Waiting for review lasted for 8 mos" I called them and they said to re-send my TOR and RLE requirements from my School. I did it the other day but my school can issue it a month from now which is April 18, 2018. I am aware that the CES application is only for a year in CGFNS before it expires.

I only have 2 mos for the CGFNS to review my papers. After reading some comments that ave CES process will take about 3-4 mos, I am afraid that my CGFNS will expire and that I will pay again.

Anyone who can give me an advise on what to do. I am just sitting here and praying that it will all be done before CGFNS will expire.

I am applying to the State of Illinois.

Thanks in Advance

It would be better if your school could submit the documents sooner, for review.

I don't know if contacting those who do the CES review would help.

Hoping for the best for you!

Ask CGFNS to extend your time. I can't remember if they will do this before the time is up, but ask now, and they'll let you know. There's no guarantee that they will do it, but they do it at times. Do not, under any circumstances, pay again without asking first. They could make you get new paperwork again from your school, because the form changed since you first applied; maybe you're having your school fill out the new versions of the forms now, I don't know. Anyway: yes, CGFNS will extend the year timeframe at times, if all of your paperwork has been submitted.
