CGFNS-CVS New York process ?

Hi,

I am very confused about the process of Credential Verification Service (CVS) for New York State.

I graduated from a nursing school in Philippines . But I have neither written the nursing board exam nor registered as a nurse anywhere in the world.

Currently, I am in New York and I need to go through the Credential verification process using the CGFNS CVS service.

However, as a part of credential verification process, CGFNS apparently requires information about my initial nursing license (which I don't have).. I am very confused at this point.. :(

How can I get through the CVS process without having initial nursing license ?

Please kindly suggest me !!!

Can I start my Application for Licensure for NY even my CGFNS is not yet finished?

CGFNS sent me an email that I have to strart the licensure for NY just after I submitted the payment. So yes

Yes, I did and submited them together with the aplication

Any guidance would be appreciated please. Application here in california for graduates 2010 up are not being acknowledged anymore

I am about to apply for NY license and read about the cgfns CVS requirements too.

Can I confirm that the license will be waived? And do I need to send a letter or anything? I wasn't able to take the board back home and I'm currently a resident here in the states.

I'm planning to send my application to CGFNS CVS and NY BON this week. And would it be a good to personally process my requirements back home para faster?

hello again... i just submitted my application for licensure to NYSED. please let me know if i missed out on something. i did it online and attached my nursing diploma and child abuse and infection control certificates.. is there anything document wise that i forgot to include with the application?
